I may have to pick up a few pairs of these.
Starting Sunday, Circuit City is cutting $20 from your reciept when you buy two XBox 360 accessories priced at $19.99 or more. This includes the Microsoft Points cards.
Since the 1600 MS Points cards are $19.99, it's effectively buy one, get one free.
Be warned: since you're effectively buying currency for cheaper than it's worth, fatass mouthbreathing ebay resellers will be all over this like the hooker they're going to spend the profits on.
I may have to pick up a few pairs of these.
These are effectively sold out of Circuit City stores in Southern California.
Two tips for those of you who want in on the deal:
* Ask your local CC when their shipments come in (Tuesday and Saturday here). Show up that afternoon and try to get some.
* Go to a competing store like Best Buy and ask them to price match.
Went in this morning right when they opened. All they had were two 4000 point cards. I went ahead and got both because I'm sure I'll use it eventually, but not the awesome deal I was hoping for.
I don't get it. If they are still BOGF, what difference does it make if they are 4k or 1600?
They aren't BOGOF. They are, buy two items of $20+ and get $20 taken off your receipt. The 1600 points are $20 so its functionally BOGOF.Originally Posted by Robert Sharp
