????
This site is full of old guys who can afford cutting-edge game hardware, not 40% young women. I think their stats are pulled from their posteriors.
Those are scores against the average, Rick, not absolute percentages. So compared to the rest of the internet, we're maybe 30% low on chicks.
Household income is low, but lots of kids.
Very poorly clothed kids.

Where are they getting this data from? By posting to qt3 are the marketers sucking my demographic info from my brain? GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HEAD!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
/me coats entire house in tinfoil.
I think we can file this under "statistics pulled out of ass" and move on.
Complete guesswork based on - IT IS A GAME SITE!!!! We do not use any ad agency that shares data like this, and really there is none to be had since we don't collect any. So this is nothing but taking the already inaccurate alexa data and applying it to their guess on game sites in general. Essentially this site is a scam to get you to participate to correct the data...
But much like people using the japanese gaming stats to argue about the US market, don't let these fact get in the way of making an argument based on them...

As an aside does anyone remember the name of the site that tells you what a domain is worth based on google hits, the letters and length of the URL ?

Sirs, I shall make you an offer! $4,999!
Me calls bullshit.
Where the fuck are they extrapolating any data to even wager a guess on that info? Strange site.
I ran some of the domains from work in there and was really surprised at the results. It's similar data we get from other web hit monitors but I'm wondering how THEY get it.
Where are the 40% ladies? Or maybe that's 40% of the posts are about ladies - i.e. the El Guapo effect.
Forty percent of the time they're about ladies, every time.Originally Posted by Jake Plane

It's not saying 40% are women - it's saying that Qt3 has 7% less women then the Internet average. Still seems too high to me...Originally Posted by Jake Plane
