    Gaming sites

Which site(s) do you frequent? I've used Gamespot for a long time for PC, PS2 and GBA news and reviews, but I loathe the latest redesign. I can't find what I'm looking for, flashing banners covering every inch, etc. Any suggestions on a site with comperable content? Thanks.

    www.levitateme.com

It's a website owned by two of the forum regulars here: Tyler Jenkins and Jason McMaster. Covering all your needs from PC to Xbox to GameCube to Gameboy Advance SP to PS2 to anything that's related to gaming on the whole, it kicks IGN and GameSpot's collective ass. No annoying ad banners, a rocking interface, and loads of content (but not so much as to make it overwhelming), it's the best indy gaming site this side of QT3.

Hold on! Let's not over sell it here. People will think we update regularly or something.

OTOH, if you are being a sarcastic bastard, then you can (verb) my (part of male anatomy) .

We will be adding a Linux review/news section soon that will be devoid of content as well. I'll make sure to post it here when that gets going. (That emoticon is just for Qt3 member "A Mixed Bag of Eye Boogers". The rest of you may ignore it.)

Oh... and Cookie, you are fired. Consider that next paycheck your last.

Dude, so far Verner's written three reviews and you've written one. I think he gets to fire you :P

Also, Met was clearly being sarcastic, and it was awesome. We should put his quote in the "about us" section, though (when we get big enough to have one of those).

That's right. Hmmm...your fired then. No free turkey for you this November.

Where Met-RX is concerned, I admit I was caught off guard. I was expecting a tirade which included a liberal use of the phrases "fucking idiots" and "talentless retards". He got me.

Daily gaming updates with frequent items about the business side as well. Occasional reviews. Great bare bones site of everything you need to know without any "we have to cover this or that" fluff.

Tylers review is 9 pages longer than the Grapes of Wrath.

Stay on topic...stay on topic..stay on topic..

For a good link site to all things RPG and RPG/Strategy, I go to RPGdot. They do their own reviews on occasion, but mostly they give updates around the clock to links of screenshots, previews, and reviews of every RPG known to man. With the ever increasing number of RPG/strategy and RPG/RTS hybrids, they are covering even more bases now.

Tokyopia and The Magic Box are pretty good for some Japanese gaming news and articles.
