Wanted: A Freelance Artist For 2D Games

I'm looking for a freelance artist in the L.A. area who has experience creating art for 2D (and 2.5 Isometric) games on the web.

I need someone who is a gamer or at the very least, understands games. For example if I said I need art for game like "1941", this person would instantly think "Capcom Shooter" and not "god awful Steven Spielberg Movie."

The work is not for me personally, but for a Fortune 500 company. The person would work with my team (development), but would take direction from an art director.

The work would be on a contract, per game basis.

The artist I work with on all my games might be interested (most recently the knizia influenced multiplayer game trendetta, other stuff at the url in my profile ). Circumstances have led nearly all our games to be for a single demo -- 13 year old girls -- but he's a lot more flexible than that.

He might be interested in some additional work, I'll run it past him and put you guys in touch if he is.

I assumed it was some sort of slo-mo visual effect, what with the bullets being different sizes. It's called "artistic license."
