The most awesome way to break a 360 ever

Oh yeah baby, this one is classic. So I have 3 360 dev kits in my office. I was setting up one as the server and the other as the client. I had both controllers in my lap, and I leaned over to the client box to hit the power button and accidentally drop the server controller on the floor. These are wireless controllers, mind you, and I was sitting about 5 feet away from both boxes. As soon as the controller hits the floor, the screen of the server dev kit goes black. So, ok.. I turn it off, turn it back on, and boom: red lights of death. I swap video cables, power cables, and the controller. Even plug it into a different TV. I turn it back on. Guess what? Yep, red lights of death. There's video, but it's basically just a scrambled version of the boot screen, and it never gets past that. DOA.

This dev kit was only 2 months old. So let that be a lesson to you: don't ever drop your controller. You just might end up killing your 360.

I gotta admit, though, that I was hoping to hear about a 360 being killed by a flying Wiimote.

I think I'll stick to carpeted floors, then! Nice bounce on mine. All expensive hardware
on raised platforms/tables/desks, of course.

I think crushing one under the combined weight of you nailing Ana Hickmann would be a pretty awesome way to break a 360.
