Here we go again...
Or, at least, famous enough for everyone that sees Wikipedia's front page!
I didn't know he was an actor. Count me as stupid, I thought it was just a gaming thing.
Here we go again...
I used to like Tom Chick but now with every thread on this forum being about him being on Wikipedia he's getting so overexposed. Your 15 minutes are up, Chick!
And every time you vandalize my Wikipedia entry, Coca Cola, you extend my fifteen minutes by about three seconds. Ha!

Your's isn't the first wikipedia page I've "vandalized"! And it won't be the last!
Apparently he's slightly less famous than the Dean of Agriculture at Purdue from 1983.
Next time you do it, genius, you might want to make sure the person doesn't have your IP address. Just a tip.Originally Posted by Coca Cola Zero

But more famous than some transvestite who was on Oz! I'll take what I can get. :)

So, erm, what exactly is a degree in divinity? is he like a saint or something?
Yes. And he's really, really good at this game.Originally Posted by Juan Rayo

Oh, sure, everybody's into Tom Chick now. I knew about him before all the hype. Before everyone was all, "Hey, check out my Tom Chick pogs!"
EDIT: Tom, that's you in The Office?! I knew the guy looked familiar, but didn't work up the effort to imdb it, and (I'm sure you'll find this reassuring) I don't know you on sight.

Its the bad grammar what makes my vandalism so funny!
Man, if Tom really does turn out to be Jack Chick's son, I am so screwed.
It's good to see CGM doesn't even exist in the Wikipedia universe... I mean, come on. Regular column, lots of features, lots of reviews... and I'm pretty sure we gave him his first paid writing gig.
WHERE'S THE LOVE, WIKIPEDIA!?! UR BIAS 2 BIG BIZNESS!!!
Naw man, he's an expert in making white sugary confections!Originally Posted by Juan Rayo

My feeling is that eventually Tom is going to get cast in some breakout smash hit movie like some kind of cross between Brokeback Mountain and Curse of the Golden Flower and then he's going to win an academy award for his portrayal of the emperor's son that is torn between his love of his kung fu buddy and the princess he's supposed to marry.
Then he'll be super rich and we'll all go hang out at his place in Aspen with him and drink cocktails and play video games all day in luxury.
And the movie will be caled "Curse of the Golden Shower."
One of you stalker/technical types ought to assemble a YouTube compilation excerpting all of Tom's TV appearances. I haven't seen any of his acting work, and I probably won't in the future unless he's got a sweet gig lined up on Gilmore Girls or Season 2 of Dexter. Edit: Or Ugly Betty. Or How I Met Your Mother. Or voice work on Boondocks. I guess I'll catch up on The Office before too long ...

Wasn't "Taste the Golden Spray" the movie the rich asian guy starred in in The Big Hit? I think Tom might have been cast in that.

Juan, I actually don't have a degree in divinity. Where I went to divinity school, they offered a Masters of Divinity, which is for more ministerial pursuits, and a Masters of Theological Studies, which is more academic. I have the latter. But even that label is a little misleading. I don't do theology. My bag was Biblical studies.
As for TV appearances, countrybear, "acting work" is too generous a phrase. :) If you were to put together a tape of my stuff, it would basically be a bunch of single lines that are the TV equivalent of a messenger coming onstage with some sort of exposition.
A MESSENGER ENTERS
MESSENGER: "My lord, the enemy army has arrived."
HE EXITS
