Shining Lore MMORPG - akin to Brian Koontz' Vision?

Supposedly characters will be able to play non-combat types and gain experience from that, as well as have several mini-games within the game world. Looks to be a step away from the current, pure-combat paradigm, although the console-style gameworld might have a limited appeal to the MMORPG audience.
Up and comming MMORPG featuring no combat at all.
It's in public beta and worth a try.
Here's an interesting thought: what about a game where you gained combat skills through non-combat activities and gained no character improvement through combat? Will such a thing ever exist?
