Despite the webpage title, that's the PC import version of Q4, not the X360 one.
I enjoyed Q4's multiplayer as much as H3's, but nobody's ever playing Q4 on XBL.Originally Posted by unbongwah

Final Fantasy XI (PC) is $1.99 at EB Games and Gamestop, and they'll have plenty of copies. It's labeled as a starter kit, but it's the full game and comes with 30 days of game time. Since the game's cross-platform, you can play your characters on Xbox 360 or PS2 as long as you're starting a new account and already have the required expansions for PC.
So, like, are PS3 and Xbox360 games only going down to $29.99 instead of $19.99 now?
When they go to Platinum/Greatest Hits, yeah, 30 is the new 20.
although, oddly enough, there's a strange window where retailers will discount an older 360 game to $20, before that same game becomes a greatest hit and gets re-released at $30.
YMMV, but if you keep an eye out at places like Best Buy, you can find some $20 360 games. Sports games seem to drop in price especially fast, dropping to $20 or so by time they're a year old.
And I know of at least one PS3 game you can find for $20 if you look: Enchanted Arms. (I saw it for $16 at Fred Meyer months ago, and saw it for $20 at Best Buy last week.)
Yeah, this is very true. At a local Best Buy, I saw Enchanted Arms, and Viva Pinata at $20. Table Tennis was only $16. I'd seen Dead Rising at $20 before, but now it's been released as a greatest hits, and is available for $30 everywhere I look. I should have grabbed it at $20. In fact, I should probably grab Viva Pinata at $20 before they release it as a greatest hit.
No wait. Must save every penny for Rock Band. Every penny.
Now at GoGamer: Company of Heroes Opposing Fronts for $30; Oblivion GotY Edition for $35.
Also, Circuit City will have the PC version of the Orange Box for $38 next week, according to CAG.
What was I saying in another thread just a couple of weeks ago about a price drop like this? There you go--even better than 10 bucks off. I sure hope my CC has a lot of copies.Originally Posted by unbongwah
I'd normally agree, but the seven dollars (less, counting tax) extra that I spent to play TF2 now has been worth every penny. Even better, I don't have to hunt around for copies that are gone by the time I get to CC.
I'm starting to agree. The TF2 beta is already one of the better games I've played this year.Originally Posted by Crater

Oh, I wasn't saying the OB wasn't worth 50 bucks, just that for those who were complaining about having having to buy HL2 and Ep. 1 again, now they can get the OB for substantially less.
According to slickdeals, Toysrus is having a buy 2 get one free sale on all video games from now til October 20th. I think any game counts but the free game will always be the cheapest one of the three.
edit: According to the site it's online only.
Just went thru the list, it has alot of newer titles( Orange Box, Zelda DS) but no PC titles.

You're limited to that list if you order online; in-store, anything but preorders is fair game.
Yeah, in-store it's on all games for all systems and you can mix and match across systems. I picked up Heavenly Sword, Resistance, and Skate for the PS3.
Target's put a bunch of stuff on red tag clearance again. I got Titan Quest: Immortal Throne for $5, and FEAR: Gold Edition for $13.
They have a bunch of console crap marked down too.
If you missed it, Frys/outpost.com has about 25 Blu Rays for $9.99 this week and about 20 HD DVDs for $13.50 as well
Anyone know when the new Xbox 360 bundles (either the one with that racing game and Marvel Alliance or the rumored one with Halo 3) are going to hit shelves? I have cash burning a hole in my pocket to buy one, but I want to get a bundle for the free game and the guarantee that I have the latest hardware.
CostCo's currently have this package, so it's out there. No clue about other stores though. (However, the outpost.com deal that lasted all of three hours had this base console version too, so if you live near a Fry's might be worth checking them out.)Originally Posted by Thrrrpptt!

Oblivion: Fighters' Stronghold is available as free download on the PC and 360 (presumably in the Marketplace).
If you haven't picked up Bioshock yet, Fry's has the PC version for $30 plus shipping; while Target has the X360 version for $50 (in-store only). Also, Circuit City has the Orange Box (PC) for $40 and WoW BC for $20.
EDIT: Amazon also has the Orange Box for $40.

While I was at Toysrus yesterday I saw they had Sonic Rush 1 and 2 for $19 and $29, I haven't played the sonic handheld games, are they better then the recent console games?
If Sonic Rush is the Nintendo DS side-scrolling franchise, I have heard very good things.Originally Posted by pfreak

Nice, that's a pretty good deal. It essentially saves you $14.17 over the normal XBL Gold subscription price.Originally Posted by Marcin
Quick question is Circuit city 's $40 deal on the orange box, is that only for this week or is that going to be their regular price for it? I noticed that they're offering free shipping on it.
AFAIK it's just the sale price for this week.Originally Posted by pfreak
