Just an update. I ordered a few cheap games from that sale, and I was nervous, since they're pre-owned games. Just a cursory look at the discs I got reveals lots of scratches and smudges on the Battlestations: Midway disc. Same with the Project Sylpheed disc. The GRAW 2 disc is a little better, only a few scratches on that one. And almost no scratches or smudges on Sega Rally Evo. All in all it cost me $60 for those four games, which isn't bad at all for a price, but I really hope I don't run into problems later in some of these games where the scratches cause certain things to be inaccessible.Originally Posted by Moggraider
My only previous experience with used games wasn't bad. I bought Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, and it had a scratch that caused only the good ending of the game to be unviewable. But that's ok, because I went online and viewed it on Youtube. And it turns out that Warrior Within was my favorite game in the new trilogy. It started off absolutely horribly with the metal bikini chick and the heavy metal music, but it got much, much better as the game progressed. The D'haka sequences are still my favorite in the franchise. Just brilliant. And the heavy metal riffs were actually very fitting for those sequences.
