    1. That wasn't a paladin, it was a sailor.
    2. Completely different outfit.
    3. Hair is shorter.

I suppose you got confused since she was wearing a ponytail? All look same?

Back to dungeon crawling and V kicking ass would be nice. Yeah, this escape arc has been going on way too long.

The glacial pace isn't helping. Why is it that all the people with awesome stories to tell are afflicted with horrible diseases/disorders?

Gary Whitta is a writer, and he always seems like such a happy guy. Tom Chick, too.

You can't see it, but I'm making that little twirling motion with my hand. You know, the one that says "Okay, hurry up and let's get going?"

Wait wait wait... is that image at the end of the comic a riff on that famous scene in Titanic where the dude is holding the chick over the bow?

Meh. Does it even matter anymore? Wake me in a month, when we'll have gotten three more strips.

He's seriously ill, he's telling one of the best stories you'll find on the web, and you're getting it for free. Have some fucking patience.

Actually, I think his best stories were On the Origin of PCs and Start of Darkness, both of which I purchased. I agree with quatoria, the story is awesome and all, but the one strip a week thing is killing story tension. I'd rather he just stop updating entirely until he handles his health issues.

I think he's planning on taking a big break after this arc. I agree it's dragging out, but the Azure city story has been so mightily epic it feels churlish to complain.

It would have felt churlish to complain a month or two ago, when the story was driving and interesting. It doesn't feel churlish to complain now, when almost all the action is resolved and it just... keeps... dragging... ON. I'd be bored with where the story is if we were getting three updates a week of the collapse of the Azure City, but one update every week and a half is just fucking murder, at this point in the story. I'd be delighted for him to come to a resolution and take a break from his health for a while - i think most of the sentiment I've seen agrees that we just want this damned arc to be over already.

Erfworld is suffering too, despite whatever you might think of the quality of the comic, since they only get updates posted when OOtS does.

I actually see that as an improvement for Erfworld.

Erfworld isn't that bad. Rimbo links to webcomics much worse quite often.

I like Erfworlds art. Much less keen on the ham-handed story.

Isn't that where nuns live? It's probably some obscure D&D spell.

And on a related note, where did Xykon's green headband come from. Does it show up in a previous comic, or is it a new addition.

Well, it'll be worth the wait.
