Woo my full set finally shipped. Can't wait to dig in, though it's been awhile since I have used a physical book, hopefully I can remember how they work.
Maybe Rich might decide that the members of the Linear Guild have roughly the same number of experience points than their OOTS counterparts, rather than being strictly the same level. In this case, their Drow caster might be significantly lower level due to the effective character level penalty and doesn't multiclassing also impose XP penalties? If I remember correctly Nale is a fighter/mage/thief?
Of course, Durkon being a dwarf would have an ECL penalty of 1 himself, but that's still a lot less than the penalty for being a Drow.

Yeah, Dwarves have no ECL adjustment. Unless something has completely changed in the last 5 years.
They do, but Zz'dtri seems to have been affected by Durkon's Holy Word nonetheless.
You guys are really getting into this... :)
Sounds good!

here’s plenty of funny lines left and right as you’d come to expect from South Park, such as Cartman questioning, “will you seize your destiny or be a disappointment like Butters?” However, some of the best comedy arises from the game-nature of this adventure. When Cartman asks you to input your name, the standard X-Box text input screen pops up for you to do so. No matter what you type, Cartman will ask if you want to confirm your name is ‘Douchebag’, and then just call you that anyway.
Another part of the game we were shown was a vampire’s tomb, apparently inhabited by Twilight-inspired tweens
Turin, you're in the wrong thread. This is the Order of the Stick thread, about the webcomic. The South Park "Stick of Truth" game belongs in a whole 'nother forum :-).
Yay, just got a shipment notification for my complete set of OoTS books from the Kickstarter drive.
I've resigned myself that I'm not getting my kickstarter stuff until XMas. I got all the books, the board game, and the sticky shticks. Which is pretty much LAST on his priority list :)
~C~
Yeah, the shticks are part of my order (my Order order?) as well, and I'm not expecting to see it anytime soon.
And speaking of the shticks, his latest update has a lot of info on them. They're coming, hopefully soon.
Here's hoping someone uploads Belkar on the pommel horse!Five Things I Did Since Last Update:
--Watched the Olympics while doing a few more crayon drawings. If your drawing ends up featuring Belkar on the pommel horse, now you know why.
--Had to figure out what size wallpapers you crazy kids use on your i-Whatevers.
--Reviewed, corrected, reviewed again, and finally approved the art proofs for Sticky Shticks.
--Mailed back out a bunch of signed packages that were returned to me for assorted reasons.
--Really failed to answer my emails, but I'll do it today.
So that's about it for this update. Fingers crossed that when next you hear from me, I'll be announcing the arrival of Sticky Shticks in the warehouse.
860: Wasn't Going to Listen to Orders Anyway
Those last panels with Belkar and Nale screaming were truly hilarious.
This is one of the best. Tactical consequences!
Yeah, these last couple of pages are some of the absolute best he's ever done.
"It's not a bug." :)
Good news, everyone! The Sticky Shticks are done and those of us with orders containing them (me!) can expect to see them pretty soon.
Green fire! Neat!
what's with the "your safety" and knock-knock jokes?
Another new one already--the pace is picking up a bit of late as the Kickstarter fulfillment proceeds. Of course, I still don't have my order...
Ha, just noticed Tarquin left his axe behind while rescuing Nale. Personally, I would have gone with the axe.... I presume that will be significant at some point.
They left their cleric behind, too. I'm looking forward to some Macebook drama.
I'm thinking the cleric is going to run into V and somehow cause a morally questionable situation to unfold. It would explain the imp porting out because he had a different agenda than helping the priest get found, seeing as the imp knows all about what V did when he had those souls attached to him.
