The Phantom Lapboard or How Infinium Actually Did Something Right (Maybe)

I saw on Gizmodo that Infinium finally put a price on their Lapboard, which was the couch-usable keyboard/mouse combo intended to be the controller for the rightfully doomed Phantom console. And it actually looks like it might work pretty well.

I'm going to be in the HDTV market pretty soon and I had been considering getting a TV that I could run my PC through, but using a mouse/keyboard on the couch would be unweildy. Something like that might actually make it workable though.

Really wish someone else would come up with a competing product 'cause there's no way I'm giving these clowns any of my money.

Heh, the same thought did cross my mind. Maybe if the setup actually works, someone like Logitech will come out with something comparable.

Not bad for 700 million dollars of investment...glad I was never an investor.

Heh, I still have my Pantom shirt from the time they were at E3. Hmm, wonder if it is worth anything on eBay.
