Michael Wilbon on The Dan Patrick Show suggested that the "Yes" in answer to "Were you trying to harm yourself?" might have been sarcastic. Maybe he needs better smilies.

There are two types of suicide attempts. There's the kind where someone is depressed and tries to end his/her life. Then there's the kind that might work unless SOMEONE NEXT TO ME WOULD JUST PAY ATTENTION TO ME, I AM AN ATTENTION WHORE, STOP ME BEFORE I POP ANOTHER PILL
Given TO's past history and chosen means, I'll leave which one I think it was as an exercise to the reader.
I watched the press conference earlier -- he said it wasn't a suicide attempt, just an allergic reaction.
I kept waiting for him to say "this is all pretty ridiculous," but it never came. Instead, he had a lot of comments about how he's happy to be in Dallas and looking forward to contributing and hopefully playing on Sunday. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it seemed a little weird.

If TO isn't chastizing the media for paying too much attention to him and making up stories about him while simultaneously jumping up and down and waving and saying "look at me!" then the words coming out of his mouth do not belong to TO.

It's brilliant. He just nuked about 80% of his negative criticism in a 24-hour period. Now if he could just stop creating more of it.
