    Wii Threadcast

I have no idea what Matt and Angie are up to today, but I'll continue the threadcasting tradition with the Wii conference coming up in about 1/2 hour. I'll be actively spewing forth from the keyboard at least until my delayed lunch hour ends. Nintendo, please start on time.

We are both here. I have the feed running now.... at least the house music they chose for waiting music isn't as jarring.

If nothing else, at least the presenters at the Nintendo conference will actually be excited about what they are showing. That'll be a drastic improvement over Sony's, where the only real joy on stage was the smirk that accompanied the controller announcement.

As long as they avoid mentioning fan reaction to the name "Wii", they pretty much can't lose today.

Man, Nintendo could really score some serious hype points here. It's a shame they handicapped themselves two weeks ago with the name change.

It just looks like he's trying to copy the "drop the bomb" guy and get some interweb fame.

I'd just like to say once more how much I love Gamespot's page design for this year's E3. Very awesome.

Except for the Breaking News bar that blocks you from getting to the reviews, previews, and other sections.

this thing really needs a 150 or less price point. It will sell like hot cakes, especially in light of sony's announcement.

I can't wait to hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth from Sony fanboys after the price announcement.

Regardless of where they set their price, they've gotta be feeling really, really happy after Sony's price reveal yesterday. I'm guessing they'll come in below $200, dunno about $150 though. Compared to the 360 and PS3, $199 looks like an insanely great bargain.
