Wow. I'm actually less disturbed by the fad than by the fact that the article used the phrase "dampen the panties" with respect to women fans. Can you imagine Peter Jennings reporting something like, "The new N'Sync album hit stores today, dampening the panties of women everywhere."?
That website is the weekly world news of japanese websites. Good for an occasional laugh, but not meant to be taken seriously.

Does that mean that brain rot study is bogus? Or is it just that the site uses over-the-top style to sell itself, but the content is accurate (as far as it goes)?
