I've watched that one a dozen times and I'm still trying to figure what was going on in that driver's head. Personally, I think (s)he just snapped and decided to do as much damage as possible. I pity the poor insurance adjuster handling that claim...

That's from "Ninja Warrior" (who knows what the real, Japanese name is), a show that aired recently on G4 (may still be airing). I caught an episode accidentally the other day and it was fascinating to watch. Nobody won. The final course was too much for the few guys who made it that far.

Really? The episode I watched had one guy make it all the way through, he was the second one in history, after 14 "seasons."

That's the guy in the episode linked, it's a compilation of all the stages he went through to win. It's just an awesome feat of strength and agility for the obstacles, and he makes it look so easy. I think you really need to be an acrobat to make it through. It's like a God of War platformer (including ropes on a rotating spinwheel) etc. All he needs is to tear the wings off some harpies.

Jack Black, 11 years old, in a Pitfall commercial. The funny thing is, I totally remember that commercial...

Yeah, that was my thought. She's teaching some powerful lessons, none of which are good to learn.

I love when the little girl tries to get her attention while mommy's in the middle of beating the shit out of some dude.

Plus the time-out when the cop car cruises on by.

"Please don't show me that at this point in time" is one of the best lines I've ever heard on YouTube.

Found out about this while listening to the Howard Stern show, here's the video that killed Billy Squire's career. Warning, eye bleach may need to be applied after watching.

I used to work for Comcast as an installer, and that video isn't surprising. :) Hell I'm 5'10" and before I quit I weighed about 145lbs. They work you. Hard.

Holy cats. I would just like to state, for the record, that I didn't have anything to do with the 80s. I swear. I was just hanging around and they happened.

Also, "please don't show me that at this point in time".

Hah, Billy Squier/Def Leppard was the first concert I went to. I was 14.

(The funny thing about this being a career killer is that he was just a couple of years early; I mean, check out Poison's videos. Yikes.)

Hey, Billy Squier was my first concert, too. He was opening for Foreigner!

However, I didn't realize at the time that the poor man was disabled. It's so obvious now, from seeing the lack of muscle control in that video. I can only assume he must have suffered from some sort of degenerative nerve disease.

It's like the Star Wars kid, but without light sabers. Or irony.
