Hey, did you see that video of that guy getting tasered? He totally deserved it and it only stings for a few seconds, then you're ready to run a marathon.

Ok, that bear on the trampoline has got to be at least a couple years old, but I watched again and I was crying on the floor by the time they replayed it in slow motion. I have no idea why it's so funny.

I completely agree -- at the time, I even ponied up the dough for a Trampoline Bear T-shirt.

Heheh, my cat does that. It looks like it's a back-and-forth, but it's really just that the kitty won't shut up. Which is cute unless you're trying to sleep.

The fox on the trampoline is pretty funny. It runs towards the camera man at the end, though, so I don't know how wild it really is.

In light of the Kramer episode here is how you should deal with hecklers curtesy of Bill Hicks (If you are watching at work use headphones, this is Bill Hicks afterall.)

Was it just me, or did it seem like the trampoline bounced the bear back up at least as high as it was when it fell out of the tree? Did they put it there just for the comedy?

Live TV rocks- got one of the anchor calling the sport guy an idiot...then the best one:

Had a anchor buddy get suspended the week after 9/11 becasue when they hit a live shot on time he got up and did the happy dance- except the TD didn't switch to the live shot yet. So it looked like he was saying 'thousands died blah blah' Dance dance dance....
    OOOPS.

as the paper said: At WLVI-TV (Channel 56), news director Greg Caputo helped put together a network of Tribune-owned stations to coordinate national coverage — with his own newsroom handling the Boston end of the story. (In perhaps the week’s one sour note, the station also apologized to viewers for what were reportedly some inappropriately jovial anchor-desk antics by Jeff Barnd. Caputo declined to comment.)

Sadly all tape of the moment was destroyed before we could get a dub of it.
    * just a short explanation - there are these feeds with some companies, that the Washington office will do the same standup lead into a story over and over again for all the affilates...all timed out to the second. So ...Ny station at 10:01:30...Bost at 10:02...exc. So you never hit it on the money. So when you do...you do the happy dance...well, you used to.

Oh, so that's what was going on? My wife saw that; it was quite odd without knowing the context.

Jeff Barnd was fired for that, wasn't he? We used to love watching him 'cause he was so snarky, then he disappeared.

Well, he was suspended for a week, but then forced out. He got himself a good golden parachute.
Barnd was a blast. Very smart,Good to drink with, great to work with, and an absolute master of the standup. And he had this odd habit of quoting obscure Star Trek episodes...nothing quite as funny as an anchor sitting down on a set and pointing 'there are four lights!' no jeff, there are like 50 lights:)
Sadly WLVI is no more as of Dec 18th. Just another borgified sunbeam bullshit station.

With the sedative in effect, I'd be very surprised if that bear didn't break its neck on the second impact. Of course the rangers will tell everyone he's ok - they probably took him back to the compound and shot him.

That's what I wondered about, krazykrok, which is why I didn't think the footage was funny at all. The stupid trampoline didn't seem to do anything but throw the poor bear back up in the air almost as far as he would have fallen anyway. :(

Gotta love the internet's built-in sexism. Sexy rollerblading chick!

Sure. Or maybe just some of the best goddamned rollerblading movements I've ever seen.
