    PS1 and PS2 games For PSP ?

According to Sony, it will be starting a new e-Distribution system for the PSP. So apprently you will be able download games to you memory stick. There will also be an OFFICIAL PlayStation Emulator by Sony. They will be distributing modified PlayStation/PlayStation 2 games through this system.

    Anybody know more ?

seems to be a good time to own a psp + GPS and camera coming out - not that I really need them though

"impracticableious" ?? do you mean impracticableness ? And yes I think this big of a news deserves its own thread. Notice the other one deals with Sony conference and not with PSX > PSP games issues

What I saw was from GameIndustry

"One of the most intriguing updates to the system, however, comes in the form of a new digital distribution service which Sony is planning, which will allow users to download games and applications directly to their memory cards.

An early use of the system will be to distribute a range of classic PSone games, which will be playable on the PlayStation Portable. No details have yet been announced regarding which games will appear in the range, and whether they will need to be extensively re-coded to appear on the system."
