    dream property available in DC -- cheap!

    dream home

    just look at those amenities! a bathroom and "attached parking"!

    also notice the lot size.

    i realize that real estate in DC is insane, but is a parking spot really worth $50K?

    a friend of mine just paid $40k for a parking space in Dupont circle. He's renting it out for $170/mo.

    Yes, parking is that scarce in some neighborhoods.

    $170 is expensive but doable. Parking in manhattan costs between $300 and $800 per month, depending on location. It's obscene. That's why nobody has a car here.
