Work is willing to look the other way at an extremely long lunch Wednesday, but I figure I'll be good and wait 'til I'm on Christmas vacation to actually go and see it... :)
I told myself I wasn't going to, but I'll be damned if The Two Towers isn't the first movie to ever draw me out for a midnight showing. I totally got the "you are a nerd" look from my co-workers when I was talking about it today. Oh well, anyone else?

Very tempted to take tomorrow afternoon off to go see it, but can't find a sitter for my daughter so I will probably have to wait till the week of Christmas.

Naturally. I have a theatre booked for my friends, as I did last year. Uh, not looking forward to tomorrow morning.Originally Posted by Drunkagain

Morning tickets.
The late-nighters were sold out
Missed the ref to the midnight show and thought you guys were getting a head of yourselves. I can't go at midnight. But I have afternoon tickets for Wed at noon.
I'm going Weds morning. I took the day off work last year to see FOTR; fortunately I'm already on vacation next year. My friend is calling in sick to see it with me. Like Ben, I didn't want to see the movie while I'm fighting sleep.
Was planning to see it with the wife on Friday.....but seeing as I have a free ticket from the DVD I could go see it tomorrow. Wonder if my boss will mind.
Whoah! Totally forgot about the free DVD ticket... (Opening shrink wrap on DVD case now...)
Bought 3 tickets for the 12:01 showing here in Omaha. The tickets went on sale Monday morning and 2 of the 3 showings were already sold out when I bought the tickets at 10:30 the same morning.
This movie is going to be another financial juggernaut. (obviously)
Omaha, eh? That's where I may be seeing it, since we're flying there for the holidays.
My parents and brother and I will be there at midnight tonight.
I decided to go to the midnight show yesterday afternoon, the theater sold out 7 of 8 midnight showings. It was worth it, even if I only got 2 hours of sleep.
