Sorry for the gratuitous thread, but I'm way too pleased by this not to share. :D

Sessler's wearing the Bizarro Kill Bill shirt. Come to think of it, he's pretty much the Bizarro Uma Thurman in every way.
Damnit, Matthew, that was my next photochop idea.
Ah well ... less work for me, I guess.
Too bad everyone involved with the show besides the hosts are going the way of the Dodo in 60 days...

Hopefully its true or that E3 poster is going to be a nasty swan song as well.
I wouldn't see why Comcast wouldn't capitalize on the popularity of the Screensavers as well as X-Play, so I have no doubts they'll be continued. Keeping Unscrewed around is more iffy, though from what I hear of G4's line-up, it's Shakespeare in comparison. The Screensavers, at least, will no doubt appeal more to the G4 viewers after the move as Leo is already gone, and Patrick Norton doesn't seem interested in moving to stay on the show, leaving the show with a bunch of twenty-somethings, none of whom really are enough to draw me back to it.
TechTV really doesn't have many other shows that they produce. TechLive and Fresh Gear both have suffered from losing most of their talent to real news organizations, and Call for Help really depends on Leo.
But I have confidence Matt will still be around after the move.
I'm just wondering if I'll be able to watch any of it. RCN is my cable company, and since Comcast owns G4, it's a Super-Duper Basic title, which means they want me to pay and extra $10/month to see it.
TechTV was only in the Super Basic, which I get with HBO, so I get to watch it.
I'd like to keep watching XPlay and Screensavers, but I don't think I'll be able to.
G4 isn't on my satellite, but techtv is. Will I be able to watch the new channel?
Not sure what satellite service you have, but supposedly if you had TechTV, you're gonna get G4. At least that's what the original press release a few months back implied.
I have DirecTV so I expect to receive G4 to replace my TechTV.
That's what I have too. I actually like it better than cable, though I only got it because I couldn't get cable. Now, however, even if I move and have access to cable, I will still probably get directv. I hope you are right about our getting the new channel.Originally Posted by Bob Cherub
