But chris you are saying steve's point is invalid because the stats don't prove it, but your vibe is the other way (I won't call it a point since you decline to have one) but you seem to think it is valid because steve's is invalid, not because you have data to back that point.

And even if you are privy to it, you don't know our data, at the very best you know some of it, a small portion of it.

And your other points (cost) become invalid when the solution isn't to create more controls, but more reasons. As I have said before, make it easier than pirating, give the people more not to pirate, and then the only reason to pirate is purely financial and at that point the issue is moot. Which you guys could feel some of if you would just come over to steam...
