Jesus. Talk about a a total fluke! A two-year-old internet-purchase only game shows up in a GOODWILL marked at a mere $5 pittance. Fortunately I snatched it up fast enough to challenge Einstein's relativity spiel. The CD is completely undamaged and the registration code is even still right in the DVD case with it! No manual, though... but hey, no deal's perfect...

Did Dom1 have a different feel than Dom2, or is it the same basic idea, but with fewer nations?It's the same basic idea, but has a very different feel, yes. It's sorta like HOMM2 versus HOMM3. They're both about the same thing, but play somewhat differently.

They're both excellent games in any case.
