Why? Because Tom Chick would be the most honest employee in LucasArts history. He's not gonna steal any of that shit, because.. well, do I really have to type it? You know.

It's interesting that Harry Knowles' review was a major factor in the investigation:

"The prosecutor would not say whether any criminal charges are pending against Knowles."

If he indeed reviewed a pirated copy, then he really is a moron.

That is really interesting (not that he's a moron). So much for the rumour that Lucasfilm deliberately leaked the film to Knowles for advance publicity. He could be charged, but the grounds would be weak (unless there was smoking gun aiding/abetting evidence) and I'm not sure what Lucas would gain out of pissing off the fansites.

How could they charge Knowles? A Lucasarts employee contacts him and asks if he wants an advance viewing? How is that criminal?

LOL! Tom,

That "Fuck Star Wars" mantra is frickin hilarious! It reminds me of that german soldier in "Saving Private Ryan", the guy is at the wrong end of a BAR and a bunch of pissed off rangers and he starts with the "Fuck Hitler".
