Okay, so it isn't Ep. 3, but the trailer for a movie I wrote has just gone up on the net.

Not quite as famous as Tom Chick, but working on it...

Looks great, Dean! What's 'coming soon' mean?

What was the Steinberg award?

This was a pre-production put-up to impress investors.

It's supposed to film starting the last week in July. Cast and crew are hired.

And the Steinberg award was something I won in grad school. Playwriting thingy. I don't know why he put that there (I guess to make me sound impressive to investors who will pretend to know what it is). I'd have gone for "Award winning playwright". This movie is adapted from a play of mine.

The same play is also performing in Edinburgh in August (in the Fringe Festival there), so if it gets even one good review, he's going to put "internationally acclaimed" in there too.

Way to spin it Dean!
Still, having your plays performed internationally is in itself quite an achievement. I've written a few, mostly to support my old stage combat swordfighting hobby in College. Heh... when you choreograph fights it helps to write your own shows. Anyway, I got chills seeing your name in those credits. And to think I mainly think of you as my staunch SMAC ally.
