Enter the Right Brothers. A third faction, basically a rebellion uprising tired of the PRF and HSD stomping all over the island. You have 27 days to change factions, moving your entire profile over to one of the two other sides. You can only transfer once unless it's to join the mercenaries (who aren't in the game yet.)
RB has Vitzh, Vortex and the Colt. A new 1st generation light VT based on the Vitzh. It has the marker launcher which tags a VT to show up on everyone's minimap for a few minutes and has better handling but worse weapons.
Looks like no changes for the PRF, except that Decider Volcanic and Falchions seem to be released in greater quantities.
HSD gains a limited supply of the m-Vitzh. Which is a slight improvement on the worst VT in the game.
As far as the camapign goes, HSD's win in turn 2 didn't matter since RB showed up and took a chunk of territory. Current stats are:
HSD 34%
RB 28%
PRF 38%
More information as it is released. Carry on.

I've convinced my wife that I need this game. Now I just need to verify that I'm still going to be getting paid in two weeks (switching jobs) and I'll pull the trigger on the order. Tomorrow most likely.

I've switched to the right brothers, and am busy loading up on Colts and Colt Executives. I suggest you guys join me, and we can annihilate the other factions. The colt is AWESOME. For weaponry, it has the 270-ri, 120 and 140MG, 77 smf 41 recoiless rifles, the marker launcher, DP-missiles, grenades, and the chaingun. And it's a medium, not a light. It's almost a durable as a decider, it's faster, way stable, tuns of torque, and only 20% less turning efficiency, giving it the same turning ability as a volcanic. (but no tipping). It has a 1000 range rifle that fires a radar beacon. When it hits an enemy, that enemy appears on the radar for *all* team members to see, for about three minutes. And best of all, the Colt costs less reinforcement points than it should for its price (only 1500). We can field a HUGE amount of them, and they can take on a decider easily, and a scare face with some skill. And soon, we'll get the fantastic siebzuhn, with its deployable full-bod assault shield, the Sheepdog, that shows all enemy VT's to all team-mates at all times and can overhear enemy radio chatter, and the earthquake, the feared heavy 3rd gen whose EMP device can shut down all enemies within sight. (And melee weapons can't knock it down.)
The Right Brothers are a sneaky, clever, scout-centric guerilla force. I think we could do some incredible damage with them. Who's with me?

Also, the HSD also gained the Scare Face A1, a light version of the Scare Face, with the same weapons loadout and sniper rifle.

Dangit, haven't had much time to play the past few days. Might be able to sneak in a round or two tonight yet, hopefully.

Holy god, I just got a Colt Executive. It's *awesome*. The Colt Executive has a 315SB in addition to the normal colt weps, an 80cg and T-Gnds, the armor of a decider, the speed of a decider, more stability than a scare face, twice the torque of a decider or scare face, the turning radius of a decider, and a weight allotment of 16 for weapons and fuel tanks... this may be the best medium in the game. HOLY SHIT.

I probably won't ever have the cash for this game, but hearing you guys discuss it is probably better than most games I've played recently anyway.

Maps for Turn 3:
MIS07: Flat harbor map with five "islands" connected by large bridges. Industrial buildings dot the islands but plenty of room to move. At the northernmost island is the battleship (does not fire) defense protects, offense destroys.
MIS08: Defend the buildings, two approaches through canyons and uphill to the central base/buildings. May be the most easily defended map so far.
MIS09: City map, no specials, just bases and killing. It's in the dead of night so night scope is a must. Very much a knife fight as you pick out the VTs from the cityscape background all monochrome.

Sweet. I just purchased 10 colt executives, and sold 3 of them for 65K and an optional part that increases combat experience.
