It is ridiculous. Even more so considering over three thousand people have signed the partition.

Quote: 2043

"The Two Towers" was written around 40 years ago about the two different journeys that the main fellowship splits into by referring to two separated towers which mark significant events in the novel (and, accordingly, the film). It's good to know there are more Tolkien fans in the world but it would be appreciated if you didn't try to make this movie and the book that it was based on into an issue that doesn't (or shouldn't) exist

or, more to the point 2044

this petition is absurd

I'd say a good nine tenths are signatures bashing the originator.

Didn't we go over this on the old board? I think one of the /. guys started the petition as a joke. I started a No More Petitions Petition (http://www.petitiononline.com/bgrenz/petition.html).

It's funny how a large number of them are marked as invalid. My favorite entry goes a little something like this:

"JESUS IS COMING BACK YOU HAD BETTER RECOGNIZE"

hahaha, what is this, Yo! MTV Raps?

When you could have
http://www.jesuschristsuperstore.net/lfigurespages/lfjesus.html

Although availability on that's a little limited. So you might be better off with a "Buddy Christ".

No.

Actually, it was www.trainupachild.com

You can get all the figures in either white or black ethnicity. Oddly, Jesus is not available in the "original Jewish" format.

I am sorta perplexed however, that the black ethnic set seems to have a white Eve figure. Perhaps it was Jungle Fever Eden or something.

Anyway, about the figure... it was much larger that I thought it would be from the picture. It's definitely not of the GI-Joe or StarWars scale, but is more the size of a pop can. Nice detail on it too. $7.95
