I figured I'd make a new thread for this, since I don't know if everyone's actually reading the Multiplayer thread. Anyway, I'm trying to arrange a little Qt3 NWN session--we'll likely just kick it in Contest of Champions.
If you're interested, post an available time--I'll try to accomodate whatever time we can get. Sometime this afternoon would be nice (even if we can only get a couple guys in there right off the bat, and have more join as the night goes on).

Just some quick background info on Contest of Champions:
It's basically a counter-strike-like module. Bring in a level 1 character, and you'll be leveled up to level 10. You could bring in another character up to level 10, although characters you've worked on in the SP campaign likely won't be geared toward this type of combat (certain skills, like Pick Lock, aren't overly useful in PvP). You'll choose all your skills and such until you've reached level 10. Then you will be given a certain amount of gold (not exactly sure what elements affect the amount of gold you get) to purchase items, weapons, armor, etc. Then it's team-based fight time!

I'd be interested this. What time are you thinking? I'm Mountain Standard Time, so it might be late before I get home to play.

I'm in. I decided to work from home today, so I might have to wrap that up a little faster than planned - so much for my lunch break, which I'm late for already anyway. I'm in PST if it makes a difference.

*shrug*
Wouldn't mind getting the server up fairly soon... Contest of Champions isn't overly exciting unless there are 6 players or more in the game... 2v2 isn't too bad, but it gets better with larger parties... so whenever we can get 6 or more people into the game would be best. 4ish? MST that is.

I'm out.
I've got a date with my wife tonight, kid's got a babysitter. (That's rare.) And not even Tom Ohle flavored NWN can dissuade me from that.

And tomorrow I'm taking my daughter to the zoo.

Thursday and Friday my wife and child will be miles away though. Got the house to myself. Screw it, grab your PCs and come on over, all y'all!

Seriously though, could we do something like this on Thursday night?

I'm out on Thursday... we've got our launch party heh. Ummm... I'd probably be up for another session on Friday. I can't imagine getting much work done after Thursday night.

Friday afternoon would be terrific as well.

So you're not running one today, Tom?

... If I'm welcome. Don't wanna barge in on anyone's game. I'm in California, so I'm on PST. What is that, two hours off? I'd certainly be happy to bring my Monk in for some PvP, barehanded all-out action.

I can play pretty much anytime after 6:00pm (PST), so if you're looking for a sixth. I'll be here drinkin' a fifth.

I won't be home until about 6:30ish MST tonight, so I'll check here then when I get home to see if a game is running. Will you post something here when you start a game?

Tom,

Assuming you're going to wait until a better day for these guys, I'd like to invite you to OUR game tonight if you want. It'd be nice to have ya. Level 3-6, we're still fighting through the beginning stages of the campaign.

Send me an ICQ at 3632710 and I'll give you the server info. It's a closed *Insomniax* game - and we're using battlecom for voice chat. *IX*LedMirage is sure to be there - he's the guy who just released all the portrait conversions from the other Bioware games. I'm sure he'd like to bend your ear. :-)

Game should be up right now. Anybody else who wants in, I can ask and it shouldn't be a problem.

Hey,
I'm still up for holding a game tonight... just gotta hit up soccer in a bit. If we can't get enough guys, we'll hold off until a better day.
Aszurom, I might be up for it after soccer... gotta see how I'm feeling--also assuming we don't play tonight.

Tom, if you set up a game tonight, send me the server info if you don't post it publicly. My email is in my profile, but I'll put it here for convenience: [email protected]

Only one more letter to write and I'm done with required work for the day. I'll forgo the bonus hours for a rousing Qt3 NWN match. :D

Does anyone use the PMs on this board?

Looks like it didn't happen tonight... But sounds like Friday would be a go for lots of folks.

Count me in for Friday. I've had a helluva, oh, like, 14 weeks, and I'm looking forward to a little R&R.

Depending on the time (I do work midnights, and have to sleep sometime) I might be up for a gig on Friday. I'd love to join, assuming the schedule permits. So, put me in the maybe column.

We may go out to dinner on Friday, but I'll be available later Friday night, say 11ish east coast time.

Just have somebody host a passworded game on Friday, and post the PW here.

I just got NWN but haven't had a chance to play it much yet. Definitely interested in gaming a little with Qt3rs.

Anyone up for a game this afternoon? From around 3pm MST? I have football practice at 5, but before that, and possibly afterwards, I'm up for a bit of Contest of Champions action.

Tom Ohle

okay... I think I'm just going to modify my E3 module a tad and run that, as well. So... tomorrow (Friday) in the afternoon. What time is good for everyone? This module should take about 35-45 minutes to run through. Contest of Champions can run practically forever.

I think I'm going to go see Mr. Deeds tomorrow night (7-ish show) so anytime before that is good for me. 2pm MST (1pm PST, 4pm EST)? Lemme know!

That'd be 2pm CST then? ;)
That sounds perfect. I'm in Ohle.

Me too.
Though when you work at home your job tends to be 8-Midnite (or noon to 2:45am), but the commute is pretty sweet.
