On Thursday, the state Supreme Court ruled that filming up women's skirts, though "disgusting and reprehensible," isn't actually against the law.

No word on whether punching someone for that is illegal.

Just 33% in state attend church, yet some faiths are thriving.

After discovering that her car had been stolen in Everett, a woman took a bus to work in Seattle -- where she was almost run down by the stolen vehicle, whose driver was fleeing police.

This is all part of my plan to keep the overcrowding down now that *I'm* here.

You can expect a huge influx of upskirt photographers, since it is illegal in most other states.

Are you, also, helping to proliferate the "it's always gloomy here" myth. I went to Seattle for the first time this year for 5 or 6 days. It misted once. The rest of the time it was pleasant and beautiful. I did not want to come back home. I see your game Mr. Sneaky Man.

I can't wait for Justice Sandra Day O' Connor to visit Washington State. I will be waiting with a long, skirt-raising pole and a digital camera.

Or is it illegal to facilitate the upskirt filming by touching the clothes of the filmic subject in question?

Damn these loopholes.

Good post. Strange other states would be having similiar problems did they all write poorly worded voyerism laws?
What was wrong with the religion article? That were apearently heathenistic when compared to the rest of the country?

TYJENKS it is not a MYTH! Washingtons gloomy all the time it doesn't get that much more rain then other states and it seldom pours but it's at a constant drizzle. Of course that's why I like it!

And yeah Jason now if Microsoft would just move there operations to california and sunbucks would go out of business we could finally get rid of those god damned flava bean sucking Iced vente drinking tech yuppies!/Half hearted apolagies if you are one.

Strangely enough, it's not illegal in a lot of states to video record someone without their knowledge. But it does become illegal if you video record someone and also record the sound. The argument is that if you're recording sound, then you're technically eavesdropping, which can be illegal (tapping into someone's phone line, etc.)

It sounds ridiculous, but it's a technicallity that lawyers do use in a lot of these cases.
