I want his next movie to be an adaptation of King Lear set in Hollywood. An aging A-lister(Aaron Spelling?) divides his studio-production empire amongst his 3 daughters.

Serenity 2, obviously.

Only if King Lear is Paul F. Tompkins playing Garry Marshall.

The Lear idea does have going for it the fact that one of the main characters is called Cordelia. And, spoilers, she gets killed off.

The cast of Twilight vs the Hulk. (spoiler: the Hulk wins)

Dr Horrible's not really a movie, though. And he's supposedly working on the sequel right now.

I know. But it's the next project I want to see him focus on. I know he says he's still committed to it, but I fear it might get ignored now that he'll have a world of opportunities to choose from.

I don't think it will, though, as he's doing it because he's passionate about it and he wants to. Keep in mind, this is the same guy who spent the 12 days following the wrap of filming for The Avengers self-funding and shooting Once Ado About Nothing with people he enjoyed working with, just because he thought it would be a fun project. Dr. Horrible 2 will happen. :-)

Kaylee the Movie.

Kaylee the Movie: An XXX Parody

but srsly

I guess I'd like to see him do something original. I reckon he could do a generation defining film along the lines of Star Wars, but better because you know...Star Wars is rubbish.

Anything I would want him to do is exactly what he shouldn't do. New horizons!

Indiana...let it go.

Given how well he wrote them, I'd certainly love to see a Whedon written and directed X-Men film, but we basically got that with The Avengers. ;)

I'm on the side of saying let him go with something original of his own devising. The man has a far better imagination than me.

Haha yeah, I wouldn't even vote for a Serenity 2...Serenity just had such a nice little bow on it, and killed of 2 of the best characters. (Spoiler!?!?) If Joss is gonna revisit that universe, I want it to be pre-Serenity (the movie.)

I agree that Joss-helmed X-Men could be great, but I think original work is far more likely to happen, and I don't think that's a bad thing. I think it was during his Reddit Ask Me Anything that someone brought up him writing an episode of Dr. Who, and his response was basically "As much as I love The Doctor, I've been writing other people's characters for two years now, I'm ready to do my own thing for a while."

Yeah! Something original, like Much Ado About Nothing!

Give him the Malazan Book of the Fallen, and make the first book which was originally a movie script. Game of thrones and the latest superhero movies has shown that we have the technology now to make it, and since the Malazan series is all about gritty, dirty, downtroden, fault-riden people its something we havent seen him do much, but something I think he can do quite well actually.

Hahaha he's already finished that one. :-p
