Canadians: 50% XBL Points Cards - Superstore

For the next few days hundreds of Canadians are rushing to their local Superstore for a (presumably) one time deal on Xbox Live points cards. 50% off! Apparently these are better sales that Americans have ever had. I haven't seen 50% off Xbox live points before...

I bought about 20 game cards today... most areas are sold out by now (sale started today) but a lot of people are price matching at Walmart which also rocks.

apparently, (rumors) MS is trying to get rid of the old points cards to make way for new points cards or something like that? anyone here from MS who can confirm/deny this?

Walmart Canada has a 2x$20 cards for $30 starting on the 8th to the 28th.

Sincethe Superstore deal is better Walmart will pricematch the SS deal... so either way you win.

I've tried before. Most places don't pricematch gift/dollar/point cards due to how the activation system works. Ie. if you pricematch it and the cashier activates it wrong, you end up getting the amount that you paid not the full dollar value of the card.
