One thing I like about Sony is that they are always doing stuff that I knew was technically possible but I figured nobody would ever bother with mostly for market reasons. The 3D TV with 2 unique viewpoints is a good example of that.

They are using active matrix lcd glasses, so depending on the quality of those screens (speed from black to clear and opaqueness) they should have pretty good separation.

The theory going on FHC is that Microsoft wouldn't have allowed CCP host their own servers, so they were literally unable to do the integration with the Eve game that's going to be the selling point for the game.

But yes, I imagine there was significant money in not letting it be released on PC. Which is where the most likely audience for it would be.

I imagine an alternate universe sometimes where "Paramount Interactive" released some Star Trek adventure games in the 90s that were as popular as the Indiana Jones stuff.
