Give it a few days for people to try them out. Nvidia may still get there :)

A question for the hardware gurus here. Is the new shader compiler they are hyping only for their DX9 cards with PS 2.0 stuff or is it supposed to help with DX8 too.

At first I thought you there was some new driver for a force feedback mouse. Forceware? What kind of stupid name is that?

There is no way in hell I'm downloading the latest NVidia drivers.

What are the chances that it will improve performance significantly on my GeForce 4 Ti4200? Insignificant.

What are the chances that it will screw up some games? Significant.

Count me out.

(Anybody want to buy me one of these new Ultra 5950 doodads?)
