Idiotic Windows XP bug

Take a machine with a hard drive at drive C and a CD-ROM drive at drive D.

Map a network drive to drive E.

Plug in a USB key or compactflash adapter or something.

It tries to put itself at drive E also, and doesn't work.

Good work, Windows.

Yeah, you should be able to move the drives around though using disk management, and limit that drive in the future to a range of drives. That's how I got mine set up now. Virtual drives, CF and SM readers, USB keychain drives, 3 hard drives, 2 CD-ROM drives, and an LS-120 - All working in perfect harmony. :D
