***If you send me a pick after the status update but before the first game starts (note that the status update can happen anytime after the deadline) you will get a random pick that won't be a pick you've made before.

This is not my league, and I bow down to Lorini for all she does for this forum, including this game. As such, I understand (and agree with) the decision to make late picks random. I just want to note that I personally (as someone still in contention) would be OK with letting divorced slide on his 20 dollar pledge, since he didn't get a chance to make a legit pick. Just throwing that out there.

So it'll be a lot easier to do this if the Packers and the Cowboys lose :) :) Although honestly I'd nearly be willing to put down hard money on the Packers winning straight up. Cowboys, who knows. They could so easily lose as well as win.

Unfortunately I won't be home to watch football this Sunday but I'll be rooting for everyone anyway :)

Personally I think Sam Bradford is going to pick the Raiders' defense apart. Also surprised not to see more Eagles and any Titan's picks.

I never understood the random pick assignments for those of us that missed the (strangely early) deadline for week 1. Interestingly, the random pick Lorini gave me was better than my actual pick: I had picked the Chargers to win. No way am I taking advantage of the weird random pick assignment to stay in a suicide league others are trying to win legitimately.
