So what is better when reading a post.... a few quick quips or in-depth psychobabble? Some of the posts get really long and the eyes start to mist over before reaching the end...

I can't get through long posts. Koontz's I basically skip and wait for someone else to quote the most goofy parts. Kitsune I read maybe the first paragraph then skip the rest knowing that if he talks about drinking pee in the the rest of it someone else will pick it up. I would read a long post by Tom or Denny or Mark or anyone else I thought had something to contribute.
I try to keep my posts short and to the point when I make them.

Neither - short, to the point arguments (at least in this forum) are what I prefer to see.
