This seems like a kind of neat ruleset to try and play under...

Basically try to create a continuous 10-generation family from a single (poor) starting point, earning points along the way for things like lifetime goals and wealth accumulation...

I'm thinking of giving this a go this week as I have time. Some of these rules are crazy though. Each lifetime want only gives 1 point, and you have to do each of them once to get more points. That's freaking tough. With random traits and normal speed without moving to a new lot, this is a freaking tough challenge.

Sounds like fun. Thanks for that link Xemu.

Haha. That is incredible. The thought of how strange the house will be by the 10th generation is astounding. I think I may try this, although I dread the boredom of starting with only one Sim.

The banning of ambrosia may be the best thing from this ruleset.

I am thinking one could do album photos to keep track of which LTW's are achieved rather than scrawling on a little post it.

I'm on the second generation and I realize I've already goofed - I was definitely picking traits for the first set of kids. Oh well.

I'm on my fifth generation. Is there any way to see a big screen of the family tree? It's getting quite complicated.

The house is just... insanity. So many portraits! I had to create a museum. My founding Sim was artistic, so I had her paint loads of paintings and they've appreciated considerably. If I were really pushing it, I could make more money, but I tend to let the game meander a bit.
