Am I the only one who thinks it's really funny to say "macaque"? Apparently so. Maybe that would go over better on one of those podcasts where everyone gets drunk.
Instead, Three Moves Ahead gets all serious about the best strategy game of the year so far. And what's in store for the rest of the year to come.

So you're saying your reference at the beginning of each podcast to "getting a coffee" is not a codeword for some sort of mixed drink? I just assumed . . .

We could record later at night if you'd rather come in soaked in bourbon.
I know you were trying to get a rise out us with all the "macaques", but I managed to beat off the desire to say anything.

You should start the podcast sober, and then work your way through while soaking in bourbon. Or maybe instead of bourbon, pick your drinks according to what you're reviewing.
I vaguely recall some old Hittite proverb to the effect that any decision you made while drunk should be reconsidered after you sober up, and that anything you decided while sober should be reviewed when you're blitzed... I bet you could work that in, and I'm sure the same holds true for game reviews. ;-)

Yeah, and what happened to the Hittites?
Troy
Wait, is Tom offering coffee at the outset of each podcast or is he offering Hot Coffee?

Esprit d'escalier. One of my favourite borrowed French phrases.

Yeah, and what happened to the Hittites?
Troy
They catapult-rushed the Minoans and just annihilated their composite bowmen.

They're still remembered thousands of years later. Think of the glory!

Hah! That is good. Damn if that isn't one of the most burning sensations I've ever felt.
Tom,
Have you bought Blood Bowl yet?

TheHunter is a stealth game. Replace deer with Nazis or post-Cold War targets or whatever the kids like to kill these days, and there you go.

Honorable mention to Troy for working the phrase "beating off" into several episodes.
