With lots of renewed interest in CoX and enough people wanting to play together I thought it would be great if some of us could get together and knock some heads. Several people agreed in another thread so I'll set up our first event. Let's plan to get together as heroes on the Justice server at 8pm EST(7 Central, 6 Mountain, 5 Pacific) this Friday May 27th. Have your hero made and in the turorial zone so we don't have to wait for you to pick your shoulder style that matches your special helmet. Plan to play for 2 hours this first time, probably going for 3 hours in following weeks if people are into it and have the time. Every detail is open to change to suit folks' wants and schedules. Sign up here with your global chat handle and when you have it your hero name and archetype.
Someone had also mentioned that themed heroes might be fun. I'm definitely up for it, and if people wanted to make DnD themed heroes I have a one man SG named the Gary Gygax Fan Club that has around 55k unused prestige for a little base. I'm sure there are better ideas so feel free to suggest a decent theme when you sign up.

I suppose signing up for my own event would be a good idea. My global is @TK427 and I will be playing a dark/regen scrapper, name tbd.

I'm tentatively in as a Defender of some sort. Probably Kin/Sonic. I've never played one past about level 10, and having a dedicated group would be great. My global name is @Warmwoolenpants.

My scrapper, Odin's Might, is all ready to go in Outbreak. Unfortunately my girlfriend has decided that I don't know her co-workers well enough so I'm going to happy hour. I'll be able to log on at 9 EST. If you want to start without me and I'll catch up, that's fine. If you want to wait, also fine. If you want to postpone until Tuesday, fine. If no one shows up I'll just play my tanker. Either way I plan on drinking as much as I can while avoiding the Park Service hippies.

I created a Blaster, Sonic/Mental.
My global chat handle is Kerzain.
Unless I think of a better name my character name is currently Kerzain too.
He looks like a half-elf, in brown subtle jester-like clothing.

Gotta ask - why on earth did you pick the Justice server? QT3, in various incarnations, has been on the Virtue server since the game first launched, and I'd think most of us with CoX characters would have them on Virtue. It also tends to have a somewhat more mature population, though that, of course, is 'mature' in MMO terms, so your mileage may vary.

I picked Justice because it's what I've played on most. As I said in the first post any and all details were up for change. If you'd rather play on Virtue that's fine by me. Oh, and I still haven't actually left yet so I'll probably log in for a bit.

Yeah, Virtue would seem a better pick. 5 p.m. is a bit early for me but I will try to check in later.

I'd recommend Virtue, and I'd further recommend that we figure out who's interested in doing this, and set up a leveling pact, so everyone can always be at the same level. That way, even if someone has to sit out a week or two, they won't be left out in the future.

I think I'm going to head to the bar for a while tonight, too. I normally play on Virtue, so that'd be better for me. Also, I'd be much more reliable on Tuesdays (or any weekday, really).

All my normal play characters are on Virtue, so if we swap servers it wont matter to me

I'd be willing to level pact with another character. You can start a pact up to and including level 5.
If there's a regular group I'll probably make a Trick Arrow/Archery defender since I've lately become mildly obsessed with bows and arrows. As back-up I'll also start an archery/* blaster, possibly with a doghead just because I can.

seventimessix and I teamed for a bit, he had to scoot though so we both logged off.

So let's plan to do this on Tuesday, June 2 on the Virtue server. I wouldn't mind starting at a decent west coast time, like 6 or 7 Pacific, but if that's too late for any east coasters we can start when they want to.

I should be free for this on Tuesday. I've made a Trick Arrow defender cleverly named Bat and Arrow (that I may delete and rename before then). I'll crank out a few more new characters before then as well.
My global is, shockingly, @Creole Ned.

Skorin and I got our Isolator badge then hit the sewers to level 6! Fun times, if anyone logs on later tonight on in the next couple days and wants to try for a bigger group next week try to stay under level 10 so we're all together.

If this is still going on, I'll be on tonight around 7pm EST -- global chat handle @roamunit, build TBA. Mostly because CoX triggers some kind of latent OCD that makes it near impossible for me to actually stick with a build, so I've got about 10 lowbie characters hanging around from the last time I renewed my subscription.
