I saw a trailer for this, I think it's also releasing on PSN and XBLA (and WiiWare?). Looks very much like a cutesy Bejeweled, perhaps more like Zoo Keeper actually.

For a second I was coming in here about to get stoked about vagrant story somehow getting a PC port on steam. I was about to purchase and laugh about how unlikely it was for this to happen.
Instead I find Yosumin, a game that is not vagrant story. The disappointment is like an aneurysm.

Yosumin! is actually pretty great!
$9.99 is steep for a game that you could play in flash for free though!

The Steam shopping cart strikes again. I picked this up with the Freedom Forces and Flock, and it was the smallest so I played it first. It's pretty neat. It's a time-limited grid-based game like a match-3 game, but instead of linear matches you have to make a square or rectangle where all four corners are the same color. Then all the interior pieces change to that color and disappear. Some stages require you to collect a certain amount of each color, some require you to collect pieces (of a stained glass window that was smashed and stolen, natch) by making matches around them, and some require square matches or matches above or below a certain size. And usually there are several objectives at once. The only complaint so far is that new pieces don't slide in -- matched pieces vanish and random ones take their place, so it's hard to predict moves too far in advance.
