I love blizzard games but never been to one of these. What is it like?

The announcement actually says 5/16 and 5/30. Idrisz is just misleading you so he can have a better chance at buying them. :P

I love blizzard games but never been to one of these. What is it like?

I found it interesting, but a bit less fulfilling than other geek cons I've been to.

It had none of the the normal fan things that most people associate with cons, except maybe for the contests at the end.

That, and the lines (for the games, for the shop, for nearly everything) have only been upstages for the ones at comic con.

On the positive side:

*You can whine to ghostcrawler in person, and get a snarky reply.

*The actual playtests of the games were well run, and the lines went quickly.

*The atmosphere was great. I saw all ages, all walks of life, all talking about WoW.

I'll try to get a ticket. Hopefully this time the queue they set up will help.
