Culturally and linguistically, they are divided into the Afrikaners (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afrikaners), who speak Afrikaans (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afrikaans), and English-speaking groups, many of whom are descended from British and Irish immigrants (see Anglo-African (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglo-African)).

My grandparents are 2*English, 1*German, 1*Irish.

The two English Grandparents came here via Rhodesia after WW2, the german grandparent's family left Germany in the late 1930's because they detested what was happening to the Jews and wanted no part in it and as I understand it the Irish grandparent's family moved here to escape political instability as well.

I guess this makes me half evil colonialist swine/half huddled refugee/all non-South African.

Unfortunately this doesn't mean I get to opt out of paying tax.

A tribe is:

A unit of sociopolitical organization consisting of a number of families, clans, or other groups who share a common ancestry and culture and among whom leadership is typically neither formalized nor permanent.

I don't think "all other whites" can be defined as a tribe.

There's plenty of things this guy has done that makes him nuts, but I don't think this is really one of them.
