View Full Version : Knights of Qt3: Laidback Monday Nighters' Crafting Exchange

With all the interest in crafting materials I thought it would be a good idea to make a separate thread to help making trading easier.
How about the format:
1. Name of crafter
2. Items/materials desired (be as specific as possible)

I have lots of treated lumber and woodworking patterns to give away.

I don't even know what game you are talking about, claybob.

Seems like it would be LOTRO, unless there is a different Monday Nighter's group. Who knows, maybe its Runescape!

LOTRO (Nimrodel) indeed.

Good call, Clay. I, too, have some things that are probably desired by crafters. I am especially trying to reach any jewelers or scholars with some things I have found lately.

For myself, I am into Cooking and Farming; into Artisan (tier 4) for each but I could probably use any and all recipies for the lower stuff as well as I have mostly relied on what I'm given by the game and what can be purchased at the NPCs.

Yes it for the Monday night LoTRO group. I reckon I should have put that in the title instead of Knights of Qt3 (the kinship name).

I think Tylerond was asking about Scholar materials the other day.

Waderson is trying to raise his weaponcrafting both wood and metal recipes.

Waderros is working on tailoring.

I have plenty of jewelcrafting (both gems and metal bars) and scholar items collected that I'd be glad to hand off to anyone in need.

My character, Slainte, is a Metalsmith/Tailor.
He needs ore/bars (iron at the moment) for the former, and hides (medium right now) for the latter.

I am not crafting on any of my 2 Monday Nite Toons, but will post the crafters I have on Nimrodel in case someone wants or needs something made. I have enough mats around--and until we hit mid-40's, stuff is inexpensive enough--that I'll craft for any qt3'er for free.

Anyway:

Triggercut: Master Tailor, Master Forester, Master Prospector
Triggyrcut: Master Jeweller, Master Prospector, Master Cook
Triggurcut: Master Scholar, Almost Master Weaponsmith

I think Tylerond was asking about Scholar materials the other day.

Right you are. Scholar materials are mainly from drops, can't be harvested, so anything would be appreciated. Scholars can make fellowship buffs, which I'm happy to pass on for Mon. nights. Last night Wader and others forwarded me a bunch of components.

I'll go through my vault soon and see what I have for others. Thanks for setting this thread claybob, good idea.

There was discussion in the main thread about kinship-only auctions for this stuff. Someone tried and couldn't post. I tried and could, though my alt is an officer, so perhaps that's the reason. If so, that's an odd rule. Regardless, the kinship-only auction posting fee was absurdly high, so there's little point in that.

I've got three toons on the server right now.

Cecildoc - Tailor
Nikephoras - Metalworker
Armistead - Scholar

I mailed a bunch of stuff for woodworking to you, Wader. You may not recognize the name. Its one of my long neglected alts.

I have a recipe that calls for perch. I don't believe I can buy it from vendors anywhere but anyone that is skilling up Fishing might have them. Don't throw them or sell them for trash... please send to me! (Peacho)

Thanks a lot. I am still having trouble connecting who is who, so I hope I remember to thank the right person in game as well.

Over the weekend I acheived mastery in Apprentice Metalsmithing which means I can now make heavy bronze armor with insane stats for the level required to use (15). The mastery stuff I can make is actually better than the crafted stuff from the next higher tier!

In order to make these though I require "Blackened Tails". These are purple crafting drops off Barghests and Wargs. I'd greatly appreciate receiving any of these that people find and don't need for themselves. I'll post the stats for the Hardened Bronze Armor in the big Monday thread (so everyone can see it), and if you want some, just let me know.

Also, I still have lots of jeweler stuff if anyone is doing jeweler...

I have some blackened tails that should be coming your way. What char should I send them too?

I also have a TON of jeweler stuff to get rid of if anyone wants it...

I really should of made a jeweler

Slainte. My alt (Ariondel) is simply a Forester mule to keep Slainte supplied with boiled hides. Thanks!

Agreed with the jeweler; I can't find anyone to give that stuff away to and soon I will be forced to sell it on AH.

My Yeoman, Peacho, is fixated only on Farming and Cooking and has Mastery of Tier 4 in both. I'm really only looking for Tier 3, 4 or 5 recipes at this point and already have many of those so try and let me know before you send me them. (And if there is someone starting out as a Cook I have much that I can pass on to you.)

I have a Cooking Quest that I will need help with; not Monday night but perhaps on some other night. I need to kill a specific wild boar in the Trollshaws and I believe all the mobs are in the 30s and up there. But if I can get over that quest then I can continue with my cooking progress which is at a standstill at the moment.

I need that boar too on Noldoliclay. I peeked over in the Trollshaws and it was apparent my life expectancy was zero alone at my level.

I've started putting tier 3+ recipes and patterns in the guild storage. Swing by and take a look if you haven't lately.

P.S. I also wanted to remind everyone of the discount you get from the supplier/provisioner in the personal housing area. It really adds up for all the crafting types that need to buy things a stack at a time.

Can anybody use Bundles of Straw? I get them while farming barley (or is it hops?). Anyway, their description is entirely undescriptive... if you need them to crit some recipe of yours just let me know.

Didn't know that, thanks.

I am a jeweller and a cook on Armistead. So yeah, send that shit over to him.

I snagged some of the player made hunter traps in the Kin house. Thanks, Shyaen!
