That's the sound of marketing fucking up.

If they knew what to do with it, it would sell well enough. The game is competent and pretty fun.

What happened was some idiot marketroid did an unrealistic projection and thus cancelled it. Seen it all too often.

Didn't they change the main characters look at the last minute?

I thought at one point he had like this mushroom shaped helmet on or something - which I would actually prefer to the Affleckesque head they plopped down in its place.

Actually, the PC version hasn't been cancelled. They've just decided to release it only in Europe, and you can bet it will still turn up at enlightened mail-order outlets here. (You don't see much gray-market stuff in retail any more.)
