Hmm, thought Mr. Chick no longer wrote for Gamespot?

Continuation of Gamespot's own columns of the same name?

If Mr. Chick has in fact made his way back to Gamespot, when will we start seeing his articles on that site? Looking forward to, thanks for any updates.

Heheh. When Tom called this latest series of articles 'gamespotting', the Gamespot articles came to my mind as well. However, that was just a play on the word "Gamespot" applied to a series of editorials. Meanwhile, Tom is actually talking about spotting games in movies (and possibly other pop-culture areas in the future, who knows?).
It has more to do with trainspotting (the activity, not the movie) than Gamespot.

Seemed like that was Gamespot's intent too? (Don't know, could be wrong.)
Mr. Chick may have felt his intentions for the name were different than Gamespot's, but he's still using the exact same name as a long-running Gamespot series (ran for 4 years by the looks of it).
Not a coincidence, hopefully. Is Mr. Chick actually writing for Gamespot, at least those 2 brief bits linked to? Very excited to see him return if so.
Official clarification would be much appreciated, as well as any links to new material he's written for that site.
Wouldn't working for Gamespot almost be a journalistic step backwards in current times?

Fidgit is some kind of Sci-Fi network-related gaming blog. Nothing to do with Gamespot as far as I am aware.

When did we start calling him Mr. Chick? That seems like a undue amount of respect, I mean the guys not a movie star or anything :P

Ask the folks who just got laid off at 1UP.
BTW, not a movie, but this quote comes from a Washington Post article (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/01/21/AR2009012104249_pf.html) about Obama's administration making the transition to the - shall we say - dated IT communications of the White House: "It is kind of like going from an Xbox to an Atari."
I just think it's funny that he not only thought about it in those terms, but presumed WaPo readers would understand what he meant.

And now another column entitled "Gamespotting" has been posted:

Does Mr. Chick, in fact, write for Gamespot now?
Have perused Gamespot site but can't find any new articles penned by Mr. Chick.
Official confirmation please, Mr. Chick. Why else use a column name that is not only the same as a 4-year Gamespot column, but also contains the world "Gamespot" in it?

Ugh, I hated that movie on so many levels. The Shadow of the Colossus stuff just felt pasted in and irrelevant, as if Mike Binder saw someone's kid playing one time and decided to cram it into his script. Which, I believe, is pretty much how it happened.
Still, it was nice to see a sleeper like Shadow getting so much screentime! Go Team Ico!
In terms of being appropriately used in a movie and realistically depicted, I don't think you can beat the Call of Duty stuff in The Wrestler. That was just fantastic.

I always use Mr. Chick because I have an utterly juvenile mind. I mean, come on, how is that not an obvious hurrrrr?
