So I've noticed that these new boards support a fair number of user descriptions (the little titles which appear under our names). Admittedly, my Latin is pretty rusty, but I was curious to find out exactly what the parameters for these titles are? I think it's not only the number of posts, but the frequency of the posts. How many different titles are available?
Some of my favorites (rough translations):
-Braccae tuae aperiuntur = Your pants are not covered = Pantless
-argumentum ad ignorantiam = Arguing to the point of ignorance
-Recedite, plebes! Gero rem imperialem = Step back, common people! I wear the robe of the emperor

I put in about 25 I think, and the threshold is number of posts and nothing else, I believe. Each new post moves you to a different title until you hit the Magister Mundi Whatever one.
Wish I could say I knew latin well enough to come up with these, but I did a google on latin phrases and did a cut and paste. Still, I did come up with the *concept* of using latin titles, so I'll pat myself on the back until I have to wear a sling for that.
I'd like to change them from time to time. Maybe monster movie titles would be cool. "The Incredible Shrinking Man", "Werewolf in London", etc.

I think I would have to post farm my way out of that one as quickly as possible. :) Probably a good way to encourage lots of meaningless posts though.

So Mark, isn't it time to change the titles already? Been two years. :-)
(I just resurrected this topic to bug Silverlight, actually.)

Some of the posting titles will be great tag-lines for Mythic's upcoming game, Imperator Online.
