South Park began because of contemplating that very question.
Eh, it doesn't matter. You can't reason with people who think New Testament is the law.

Isn't this true for any religion's Holy Text?
"You can't reason with people who think the Koran(or put any book in here) is the law."

Didn't South Park already cover this topic in depth?

One of the reason that God answers so few prayers is that we improperly commemorate a number of significant datess.

No, only the Bible. All other religions are totally reasonable - it's just those damned Christians.

Is Santa a latter-day saint? In believing him, are we all Mormons? Now I'm all wound up!

last night I found a house in los osos decorated to the nines: they had a football field with two goal posts, a few santa clauses and reiendeer, and a manger with multiple wise men and a wee baby jesus. I am guessing the football was for the C&W song about being drop kicked through the goal posts of life, but I could be wrong, especially since santa seemed to be doing the drop kicking. gotta love it. gotta see if I can get some night time pictures of it.

I suppose one shouldn't be surprised the opinion writer has no familiarity with the Bishop of Myra (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Nicholas).
