I'd been thinking of posting this after the game developer committed suicide (Jeff Freeman), so I just wanted to say if anyone here ever has issues with depression, loneliness, or just needs someone who can be there for them... I would be happy to be that person.

Feel free to pm me, and I'll give you my e-mail & phone - you can then dump anything you want on me. I will offer a good ear and an uplifting voice to help. I never want to hear of someone here harming themselves or going through that stage without understanding there are people (strangers even) who really do care about you. I know how much it helps me and my wife, and I will always reciprocate the kind of thoughtfulness we've been aparty to for the rest of my life... because it truly does make a life-changing world of difference.

From things he had posted in the past, he had a kind of rough time of it. But ouch ouch ouch. I hate suicides; too many struggles with depression myself.
