View Full Version : Where's my f*cking party!!!

Everyone has made such a big deal about a certain statistic of mine approaching 4,000. 3K and 2K passed with little fanfare, but this one seems to be the talk of the town. People seeing me on the street and telling me I'm getting close. Others telling me how pathetic I am (Although, I am not sure that is related to anything here at Qt3).

Now all this banning talk comes along (which is now a monthly event, I believe) and I want this day to forever live in infamy and you guys are detracting from it by having yet another weekend meeting of the International Banishment Debate Society (IBDS).

Anyway, please post all comments regarding, jabs at, and complete disdain for my post count in this thread. I do not want to have to chase everyone around in multiple threads telling them to shut the hell up like Tom and Mark are having to do everytime one of our number is justifiably whisked stealthily away in the dead of night (or the light of day depending on your time zone.)

So, um... have you found a TV at Best Buy yet?

Although the poll about ages seems to indicate that there are two particpants on this forum who are under 14, I don't believe it for one second. Therefore, it's acceptable to use the word 'fuck' in your subject header without getting all coy and throwing in an asterisk to try to trick people into thinking you're respectable.

We are having a party, but I don't think you're invited.

If your post # is a reflection of your marital status. I'm never getting married.

We already had the party, Tyjinks. We sent you an invitation, but you never showed. Ah well, when the former Spice Girls showed up and had sex with everyone, you weren't missed TOO much. ;)

No, I am not made of money like all of these gaming industry folks and journalists are so it takes me a long time to pull the trigger on a purchase over 10 dollars. Still researching, cross referencing prices, seeing which stores offer a free copy of Striptease with the purchase of a television and the like.

I am not always in the mood to use the harshness and power behind the word "fuck". Since this thread had much levity surronding it, I did not think a full on fucking was in order.

For 4000 posts, you haven't been reading the boards too closely. :D

Quick, someone make a favorite Spice girl poll:

Posh

Wait...a party. I always got invited to the partys as the Jim Careyesque buffoon-like entertainment. Sadly for me, the sex did occur and it was after I left.

Oh, I know how they like to poor mouth. Meanwhile money is being stuffed hand over fist into their futon's mattress.

If it makes you feel any better Tyler, wumpus's memory is slowly fading, and you've taken the #1 slot on the QT3ers I find interesting and wish to meet list (up from your previous 2 of 2 slot, largely based on your location). McCullough is taking the #2 slot over since I hear he also lives in AL.

I hope this creeps you out, you postwhore :P

EDIT: i cant spell

If you're in Birmingham, if I can find a sitter, and you buy the first round, I'm down for whatever. McMaster and I have had a few lunches, but his schedule and my schedule are nutty. You crazy college kids have nothing but time on your hands. Bring it on Ace.

I was about to lecture you about how I have two jobs *and* school, but then I realized that taking you seriously was likely to make me look like an ass.

I might be in Birmingham tomorrow for some work-related bitchery, I'll find a terminal and google your phone number and then call you when I get some free time :D

I can't believe nobody else has said it yet:

Congratulation, Tyler! 4000 posts is truly a...remarkable accomplishment.

I thought for sure I'd be the first to get there. And then you came along, and then I got a different job, and...*sniff*...now I'm not even in the top 10 posters anymore.

Time to get it in gear. I'll never catch ya, Ty, but maybe I'll be there with you in the top 5 one day.

Tyjenks, you're my hero. (Just don't tell Tom I told you that, 'cause I've been telling him he's my hero for years.)

Dont' worry Murph. I hired Stoker Ace to break Tyler's keyboard when he visits (wanted to break his posting fingers, but that was too expensive). It is just as well--Tyler is so poor it will take him months to research and purchase a replacment keyboard! :)

Ooops. Dang, that was supposed to be a secret.

Nope. No one cares about such a momentous occasion. I have truly become the new whipping boy version of Murph (tm). Now complete with shiny, Wonder Woman wrist bands to deflect hurtful attacks on my person.

Anyways, now maybe we can all get can get back to talking real issues. The banning talk can go away. Rywill and Jason and Daniel and Tim and Grenz can hold hands and march to the Staue of Liberty and thank whoever they do or don't worship that we all live in the U.S. of A. and not one of those stinky overseas countries like Canada or Mexico.

Wow. That's a lofty title. Are you sure you're up to it?

(Well, actually, I guess now that Wumpus is gone, it's not so lofty.)

Well I just went over 1000 posts and no one said boo - but I am small fry compared to other Qt3'ers here.

And here is the obligatory party for Tyjenks ...

:D :) :( :o  :? 8) :x :P       :!: :?:

"Sometimes I sit around and think what would be my dream job? What do I really want to be? Manager of a chocolate factory run by big breasted hookers, but I don't have the training for that."

Way to go on the big 4K, TJ. You're about 20 posts shy of being 1000 posts ahead of Jason, you crazy bastard. I was going to bring you a message from the great beyond, but Verner just made fun of my tendinitis, so screw you guys, I'm goin' home.

I woke up hungover from the party and knew not what had occured. My wife told me it had been chronicled in this tome.

Weird shit, I was doing a search and clicked on this topic without knowing what it was, and saw this:

Tyjenks
02-25-2004, 10:22 AM
Wow, and I just passed 5000 and Jason is close to one million, I think. I can't keep up because the numbers are flying by faster than that US deficit counter.

BTW, if anyone re-reads this thread which made little sense then and absolutely no sense now, I want to clear something up:

My joke about not having to live in one of those dirty overseas countries (Mexico or Canda) was funny. You see, we actually share borders with those two. Huh, you get it? He, he..uh-he...ugh. Mmmmm fun stuff.

I should ramp up my nonsensical posts and attempt a comeback. Oops, while I typed this, Jason posted 12 times.

Tyjenks.... seriously, man. You have got to learn better kung fu than that.
