Looks like Jesse Jackson's comments on knives and Obama's genitalia resulted in his lack of presence at the convention. It is interesting that one of the most prominent black Democrats in recent history doesn't seem to be present (or visible) at the convention at which the first black man will be nominated as a presidential candidate.
